GolfWeather is a planning aid. It cannot guarantee weather, playing conditions, course access or personal safety.
Lightning and severe weather
Never rely on a GolfWeather Score as permission to begin or continue play. Follow official warnings, the golf course’s lightning siren, staff instructions and closure decisions. Leave exposed areas immediately when lightning threatens.
Forecast limitations
Forecasts are model estimates for course coordinates and can change or differ across a property. Rainfall, wind gusts, heat and thunderstorms may be more severe than forecast. Always check current conditions before and during a round.
The GolfWeather Score
The score is a Beta decision aid based on forecast rain, wind, gusts and feels-like temperature over a typical round duration. It represents playing suitability, not a safety certification. The methodology may change as golfer feedback and validation evidence improve.
Course information
Names, locations, websites and other course details may be incomplete or incorrect. Confirm bookings, opening times, closures, maintenance and playing conditions directly with the course. Use “Report incorrect details” to help us correct the catalogue.
Use of the service
The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis during its public Beta. To the extent permitted by law, GolfWeather is not responsible for decisions, losses, injuries or disrupted rounds arising from reliance on forecasts, scores or course information.
